I am a collector of journals. I have the best intentions of writing in all of them, and then I end up donating the bulk of my collection because I don't feel a connection with the pages. This book is different. Leon's approach is different. Whether you have seen The Kindness Diaries or not, this book can resonate with anyone. It is fun and a little chaotic (in the best way). It is encouraging and upbeat. And if you so choose, you can even color in the pages to make it truly personalized. I have ordered copies for my friends because I think the value of this book exceeds the cost. More love, less hate. It isn't that difficult and yet we live in a time where it seems like the opposite is rampant. Like Leon, I believe that change begins with kindness and kindness is so under appreciated. This book will change that, and if you buy it and do the exercises, you can change the world- one kind act at a time.
Seen the series on Netflix. Read Live, Love, Explore on last vacation. Leon’s latest book has just arrived and I am looking forward to the challenge of daily seeking out and performing a random act of kindness to someone, something or to this beautiful planet we live on. Thank you Leon for the inspiration. The preface and introduction were awesome, but I do want to pace myself and do one a day. Looking forward to the journey.
Love what this author is doing to spread kindness and loved his book the Kindness Dairies but this book is not what I was anticipating. I gave three stars for effort and again because the message is good. Thought it was going to be like his other book and recap and go more in depth about his last “Kindness†adventure travels.
As an adventurer on a much smaller scale than Leon, I was excited to see the design of the book and even more excited when I opened it. I jumped right into reading it! It’s a book about every one of us because of how it is created. Part book, part journal, full inspiration! You don’t need to explore the world to spread this message... your own neighborhood or city/town needs you to share your kindness!
Love the book so far! It's written in a very unique way, in that it's broken down into very short and simple little bites...tapas style! Open to a random page and try a sample. This book is amazing! I originally ordered the digital version, but it was defective on many of the pages. I was so eager to read it, I skimmed through but Since many of the words appear on top of each other, it was too frustrating. I contacted Amazon and they were clueless. So I returned the digital version and just ordered the hardcopy. After looking over the digital version, I realized the hardcopy will be much better for journaling anyway. I can’t wait for it to arrive so I can get started on my kindness adventure.
This book has beautiful messages throughout. It encourages us to move out of our comfort zone to spread kindness to the world! It has the potential to make a huge difference in the lives of others. The world needs this book and message. Highly recommend! Get this book now!
