Bought this for my Hamilton musical obsessed kid and she LOVED reading it and "fact checking" the musical ;) This was one of the first chapter books she read and the vocabulary, sentences, length, illustrations, etc. were all perfect for her. I'm definitely going to purchase more from the "Who Was..." series.
Informative yet easy read for kids of all ages. I love how they use phonetics to help pronounce certain words. Now my kids want to see the musical.

Kids love the “who was†series. Enjoyed the book, finished it in a day.
Bought this book for my 9 year old great grandson. He had not seen the play but we have been playing the sound track - he has memorized it and is so interested in Hamilton.
My first grade daughter loves this book! She’s read it several times. It’s well written, and I have learned a lot reading it with her.
Great fast read before seeing Hamilton in Chicago.Quality children’s book. Now reading 800 page Hamilton biography at my leisure.
